The Formula One test venue at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve will hold its first international car race meeting when A1GP visits for a round of the championship in April, but the current car will be put through its paces over four days from January 10-13.
A1GP had to cancel several test days earlier this year due to delays with the new machine, but the four-day test in Portugal will allow further development of the car ahead of the next race at Taupo in New Zealand, on January 25.
The series has also confirmed that the Lippo Village street circuit design in Indonesia has been submitted to the FIA for approval. The races there are scheduled to take place on February 8.
