2009 will see new changes coming into effect which property owners need to be made aware of. These include property owners looking to rent out their properties and owners looking to sell a property.
I have been looking into this and have found out that there are a number of concerns that property owners should be further aware of including there is a shortage of government approved engineers and possible high fines for property lettings without the Energy Certificate.
For people hoping to sell their property without the Energy Certificate, the sale will not go through as it is now a legal document and will need to be presented at the Notary.
