Algarve Tourism Board invests €100,000

The Algarve Tourism Board has invested around €100,000 in a promotional campaign which seeks to make the Portuguese population aware of the ‘Algarve invites’ project, to be held not Lisbon’s Tourism Fair.

The campaign will be spread over several marketing outlets, such as radio, press, bill boards, advertising on buses and ATM’s (Multibancos). Having started on the 8th January, the promotional campaign will be held until the 25th of the same month, the day the fair ends.

The radio advertisements will last 20 seconds and will be aired on 147 stations and 200 buses will be carrying the ‘Algarve invites’ advertisement. As many as 325 ATM’s will also be advertising the initiative.

The event will take place at Lisbon’s Tourism Fair between 23rd and 25th January, between 18h00 and 20h00 on the Friday, from 10h00 to 23h00 on the Saturday and from 10h00 to 20h00 on the Sunday.
